Company History:
Bill and Maria Hoogterp started corporate trainings in 2002. Blue Planet Training, LLC was born out of Bill’s 20 years as a public speaker and passion, with lessons learned from other sectors and life experiences, to help others develop this skill which was growing in training world.
The demand for a course dedicated to presentations was the motivation behind the company’s trademarked Own the Room seminar. Thanks to all of us, it has evolved (OK, mutated) into a hybrid training and experience. The methodology, exercises, and use of technology revitalizes and restructures the perception of speaking in public.
The trainings are based on learning and doing with interaction between amazing coaches and engaged audiences. It focuses on making the participant the star and rotates from a large group in a room, to small group breakouts, to 1:1 sessions, our modules to build upon one another through out the day. Which gives participants tactical and tangible takeaways they can immediately implement and have fun doing it!
