Description of Business

NW Ladies in Business is a support and encouragement group for ladies who own their own business in the state of Washington. Owning a small business can be very isolating at times, especially if you don’t have any employees or people to share your ideas with. Our group provides a safe, welcoming environment for ladies to build true lasting relationships with each other. Each month you get to connect with other like minded ladies that you can share your struggles, successes and ideas with. We foster these relationships with our Connection Network and our Facebook group page.

What business are you looking to collaborate with?

I would love to collaborate with other women business owners who are looking for a fun new way to network with other women business owners.

I love creating art, so I would love to collaborate with other makers out there.

Tell us about your family

I am a divorced mom of two amazing kiddos, Jared who is 19 and Lucy who is 17. I have been seeing my amazing fiance James for almost five years now and we have plans to get married in 2027! Yes I did say 2027! We will be getting married at our property in Rochester Washington and it will be a Viking themed wedding.

We live with my mom in Seattle part time and spend the rest of our time in Rochester WA. I will be moving to Rochester full time when my daughter is done with high school. My kids would never forgive me for making them move to Rochester! HA! So move to Rochester in 2026 and then married in our backyard Viking style in 2027! Can't come soon enough!

I am an only child. Most of my extended family lives in Colorado.

Tell us about your pets

We have a black cat named T'challa and three chickens, Bluey, Red and Purple Rain. Eventually we will be getting two dogs, goats and rabbits.

Tell us what you like to do when you aren’t running your business?

I love to create things! I make greeting cards, magnets, bookmarks and wall art. I also love to do paint pouring. I pour on rocks, wood, canvas and basically anything I can get my hands on. I recently built a brand new studio for all my art and its so nice to have a dedicated space to work. I also love to read and always have a book nearby.

Where have you traveled and where would you like to travel to?

My favorite places to travel to are Hawaii, I've been to Kauai and Ohahu and would love to go to the big island or Maui next.

I love going to the Washington coast, especially Rialto or Ruby beach. Cannon Beach in Oregon is a favorite also.

My best friend Shelby lives in Virginia Beach and I love going to visit her each September. We usually just live at the beach on our visits:) This last year we took a road trip to St. Augustine Florida. I am obsessed with shell collecting and we found so many cool shells on our trip.

My Story

I have been a business owner since I was 17 years old. I own a house cleaning business, NW Ladies in Business and Dailey Made. I have two wonderful kids Jared, 19 and Lucy, 17. Got divorced in 2017 and that never would have happened with out the ladies in NW Ladies in Business. They helped me to realize that I deserved to be treated better and to have the life that I had always wanted. After getting divorced I immediately got online to the dating sites and that was a shit show. I do not recommend that to anyone! HA! After swearing off the sites I met my now boyfriend James on a single hikers Facebook group and we have been together almost 5 years now and plan on getting married in 2027.

I love owning my own business and always get new ideas on what to start next. I have learned recently that I need to be laser focused on one project at a time for it to succeed. Its been working so far:)
