Business BFF Program: The main focus of NW Ladies in Business is to support and encourage each other. To go one step further than the big group meetings and Mastermind meetings I have come up with a program called Business BFF. For the ladies who want to participate I will be assigning a Business BFF to each gal in the group and the goal is for them to call their BFF once a week or every other week to support and encourage them. This just means calling them up and getting to know them. Asking what kind of business they have, challenges they are having and any successes they may have had in their business that week. To get this started I will make a list of everyone who wants to be a BFF and then randomly assign gals to each other. I will email or message them their BFF. If you want to be part of this just let me know and I will add you to the list.

Remember if you have any events or classes coming up you can post them anytime in our Files section on our facebook page. Large Group Meeting - Ladies Inspiration Day
Sunday June 3rd 1:30pm-4:30pm
Phinney Neighborhood Center Lower Brick Building

6615 Dayton Avenue North, Seattle, Washington 98103

Ladies Inspiration Day is sponsored by the amazing Molly Blair Photography. Thank you Molly! http://www.mollyblairphotography.com/

Get ready to be inspired as three of our amazing ladies share how they overcame struggles in their life to become who they are today. This is our last large group meeting until the fall and its going to be our best one yet. We will begin with 30 minutes of networking time so you can meet our 5 Spotlight ladies who will have tables set up promoting their businesses. Spotlight Ladies are: Erin Keyes with Ever Skin Care, Heather Pybas with Usborne Books, Ninnie Portwood with Electric Consulting LLC, Amy Michelle with Levity Life Coaching and Be the Change Psychotherapy.

We will then have 30 minutes or so to introduce ourselves to each other at our tables and to share promotional material. We will also have a promotional table where you can set out your business cards and fliers so other ladies can take them if they want to.

Then we will get to listen to Kaleigh Pettis, Heather Pybas and Cynthia Tam talk about overcoming struggles.

After the speakers we will each be writing out 10-15 uplifting affirmations on small pieces of colored paper. Things like: "You Rock", "Kick Butt Today", "You are Amazing". Please come prepared with a list of the affirmations you want to write down or just be spontaneous and come up with them at the meeting. You can also type them up on paper before you come and cut them out at the meeting. I will be doing this since I have terrible handwriting:) If you do this please use colorful printer paper instead of white. You will be writing 10-15 affirmations to share with the group.

We will then put all the affirmations in a big box at the end of the meeting and each lady will get to take a handful of them home with her in a small baggie. I encourage you to place them on your fridge and when you are feeling low or are having a rough day I want you to reach into your affirmation bag and read an uplifting note from one of our ladies. You are not alone in your struggles and you need to know that we are there for you and that you are a badass business owner and you will overcome whatever you are struggling with!

Please rsvp so I can know how many people will be coming.

They will meet up again two weeks later to share how their goal setting went and if any of the info they learned at the meeting was useful in their business. I will be sending out more info about this soon and to start gathering a list of gals who might want to facilitate one of the meetings. If anyone has any ideas about this I am totally open to suggestions.
