Amaris Harris
A little about me: I am child number 2 from a family of 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. I love mint ice cream. I love my husband whom I married in September of 2014. Outside of photography I also love to paint and draw, as well as make music. I have 2 oh so adorable pups named Arizona and Ralphy; They are twins and best buds! I live in Fremont, Seattle and LOVE it! I have traveled all over the world and am always getting excited about my next big adventure. I love to snowboard AND I love beaches and water sports. I practiced ballet for 14 years of my youth and performed in Seattle’s big Nutcracker show for several years. I have been a hobbyist photographer since I was a kid and over the last 2 years have started making my passion my job.

Hi, I'm Emily.
I'm a Seattle based photographer. I grew up somewhere between the cornfields and the city of Chicago and lived there until I was 24 and my husband and I packed up our lives and our cat and drove across the country to call the PNW home. My mom used to take me for car rides to short weekend trips listening to Van Morrison and U2 and those years created a yearning in my heart for adventure. I am trusting and loyal, a true Leo. I had a baby boy this year and my heart grew twice in size and it makes me even more sure that telling people’s love stories is what I want to do with my life. I’m glad you found me.

The photographer for the dedicated hardworking soul who is ready to kick off their heels and celebrate with their friends and family. I want you to remember laughing so hard you have tears streaming down your face and a photo to remind you of that. I want you to see how amazingly beautiful you are when you are having a bad hair day. I want there to be a clear and tangible vision for you to dive into and feel warmth and greatness surround you.
I love my quiet time, but hardly ever get it. I hardly ever get it, because I live a life full of doing. Take me away to the beach so I can listen to the crashing waves. The waves are the only thing that slows me down, because any other ideal vacation includes being busy.
Over the years I have worked with many people. Many people talk about the style of wedding they want to photograph. When trying to define my favorite weddings they all had different styles. I have learned it has nothing to do with the style, but everything to do with the people themselves.
Who are you? Are you compassionate about the people you work with? Do you have a purpose for yourself that goes beyond the everyday, and work hard to help others? Does that compassion drive your own success? It that success more of feeling than what you will find in your purse? After all your hard work, is much needed time off better than anything else you could have? Do you find that your time off is busy trying to pack in as much of this life?
